RedIron Warp Aliance Campaign

A 2-player co-op campaign line for Warhammer Age of Sigmar

Scenario 1

A Tenuous Alliance

Intro

The RedIron wilderness is a vast stretch of unclaimed forests, crags, and ravines. These lands, though previously developed, has been weathered and reclaimed by the growth of a Sylvaneth Wargrove that sprung up centuries ago. Intruders are swiftly dealt with, and the cities of Sigmar have learned to avoid the RedIron lands—until recently.

Time has weathered the ferocious battles that waged earlier, and the cities of Sigmar have begun to creep in, attempting to establish hamlets and villages, advancing with troops to clear the forest, lot after lot. The tremblings and fractures of a warp rift are foreshadowing the presence of warp travelers as well, which could bring many other factions from distant realms, threatening to destroy the groves the Sylvaneth have worked so hard to cultivate.

With the strain of territories being breached daily, the Sylvaneth see that they may soon be out numbered. An alliance with some mutual party would be a relief, though, seeking the aid of other woodland creatures seems like a difficult and chaotic endeavor. The need for allies may outweigh their detest for some of the more uncouth and crude denizens of the woods.

Scenario Opener

As a group of Dryads arive along a usually quiet treeline, they notice activity of a great number of humans, torches lit, ready to firebrand the small grove.

Halting just before revealing themselves, they notice a group of Scaven clanrats organizing an ambush. It is clear they are laying in wait for the human troop to make their way to them for a suprise attack.

The two make eye contact, silently agreeing to dispatch the Sigmarian troop to ward off those who would burn their home, making a tenative pact for the day.

Scenario 2 Opener

The threat of man has become too great to deal with alone, the Syvaneth realize this now, and though the Skaven seem to be a crude peoples, this faction of their kind at least, seem somewhat more subdued and set on keeping the forest and surrounding lands intact. Their infernal machines occasionally mar the land, but the land has stood with their presence for many years now, whereas the peoples of Sigmar want nothing more than to tear down all the trees for development. A temporary pact must be forged with the ratkin.

The peace talks are set up, and the location agreed upon. The talks are underway with a small band of both members of Syvaneth and Skaven, two dignitaries present to discuss the details of the pact when a retaliatory force of humans storm through the forest, seeking to put down those responsible for stopping the previous invasion force.

The treaty must be implemented without further discussion, the time for war is upon all woodland creatures.
